la Praveshotsav is Gujarat’s flagship school enrolment and girls' education drive. Initiated in 2003 by Narendra Modi (then Chief Minister of Gujarat), the three-day societal celebration aims to achieve 100% student enrollment, reduce dropout rates, and ensure quality education for all children across the state.During the event, state ministers, IAS officers, and educational leaders visit rural and urban schools to personally welcome children into the education system, distribute educational kits, and encourage parents to prioritize learning.
