AHMEDABAD: Gujarat in the 24 hours ending at 5pm on Sunday added 12 new Covid-19 cases.
The state also recorded discharge of 12 patients, thus keeping the active cases at 151. Active cases in Ahmedabad district reached 38 with addition of one case.
Out of these 12 cases, 10 or 83% were from urban areas - 3 each from Ahmedabad and Vadodara, 2 from Surat, and 1 each from Jamnagar and Rajkot. Two other cases included one each from Bhavnagar and Tapi districts. With the update, the number of districts with zero active cases remained at 17.
